This is the first ever story I read from Blackpearled. It is a really good book. It shows true loyalty and love. Dean Cornelius Ortigoza the fifth, seriously, love the name. He is not an ideal man, however, he is someone you would want to be with. He is desperately in love with Ruth. I’m jealous with Ruthzielle Erelah Simeon cause she has Dean to lean on despite her struggles in life.

The book started with what happened after he became ruthless, this was the prologue I think. Then, it goes back to Dean and Ruth’s story. How they met and their relationship happenings lol. Truth to be told, the prologue was a good way to start the story making the readers anticipate the part where Dean became ruthless. Then for me, the story went a bit boring in the first few chapters because I’ve read like hundreds of books, so some scenes were quite easy to guess what will happen. Seriously tho, Wilmer (Dean’s friend), I don’t like him cause he’s like a bit selfish and all, based on my point of view, okay. Maybe he’s nice in the inside lol. One thing is for sure is that he cares a lot for Sue (Ruth’s sister). The character I don’t like in this book, like all other people who finished the book, is Jillian. Oh wait, also her gold digging mother, which I don’t remember her name.

But hey, when the book is coming to its snd, secrets finally coming out. Those secrets can make you feel some emotions like anger which I felt. I HATE THOSE TWO LIKE SUPER!!!!! *cough* mother & daughter *cough* The Day He Became Ruthless left me feeling happy and angry. Angry cause I am such a vengeful person so I felt that those two should suffer more BWAHAHAHAHA! Lastly, I’m happy for Dean and Ruth, they get their happy ever after.

GRRRR!!!!! I NEED VENGEANCE!!!!! JILLIAN AND HER MOTHER GRRRR!!!!! I have tons of ideas of what kind of revenge would be perfect for them. Public humiliation guys, or like ruining their image, perfect revenge for an attention seeking showbiz person like Jillian. Tell the people how selfish her mother is. Reveal all their dirty secrets. Okay I think I should stop now, my hate for them is too much lol. Moving on from that. They don’t deserve my attention. Lol hahahahaha

Really tho, 7 years wasted being miserable and all just because of a single text someone useless sent. *sigh* But just like what Dean said about regret. I think he said something like this “Regret is something you can’t do something about. Just move on.” Not sure if that’s correct tho. By the way, there is someone who I can’t understand at all and maybe I dislike him a bit. It’s Wilmer Kean Rivero. I don’t get why he hates Ruth so much, maybe not hate hmm dislike maybe? I know Ruth’s the one being the barrier in making his relationship with Sue public. But argh why does he have to kiss Ruth and make feel Dean betrayed. But oh well, it’s done already, there’s nothing we can do about it.

I am shookt with Dean cause he’ still in love with Ruth even after 7 years. Is it just me but the butterflies in my stomach went flying free when Dean said that he preferred to hate Ruth so that he will not forget her. He dismissed the thought of moving on. Such relationship goals! He was so sure that Ruth is the one for him. The Day He Became Ruthless is a hell of a book about real love guys.
